Located in the upper reaches of the Dajia River, Techi Reservoir is Taiwan’s first arch dam. It features a variable radius thin arch structure that is characteristic of a hydroelectric dam. Beautiful green hills and mountains surround the dam itself and the sunlight usually falls tranquilly on the surface of the water. The red leaves of autumn and the mist covering the peaks make the entire area look like an exquisitely painted picture.
Around 62km mark of Provincial Highway NO.8 (Central Cross-Island Highway).
