The Lion's Head Mountain Scenic Area spans five townships, encompassing Zhudong, Beipu, and Emei in Hsinchu, as well as Nanzhuang and Sanwan in Miaoli. It encompasses a vibrant blend of cultural and natural landscapes and is renowned as a Buddhist holy mountain with a cluster of Buddhist temples.
