Tri-Mountain Environmental Education Zone
Explore Tri-Mountain and its Sustainable Future
Embrace the mountains and forests through environmental education, protecting our green home.
The purpose of environmental education is to enhance people's awareness and understanding of the natural environment, and implementation of actions to protect the natural environment.
The Taiwan Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters, through combining environmental education activities with the unique ecological, cultural, and geographical features of Tri-Mountain, develops curriculum plans that align with local resource characteristics. It aims to cultivate people's awareness of sustainability and promote the protection of local ecology and culture!
Baguashan Ecology
The "Baguashan Ecology Visitor Center" is the only visitor center in Taiwan themed on the gray-faced buzzard. The Center boasts a wide variety of facilities and, in addition to providing visitor services, it focuses on promoting environmental education. The Center not only features numerous displays introducing ecological and cultural resources, but also continuously organizes environmental education courses and community activities. The aim is to enhance visitors' environmental awareness and their ability to implement sustainable ecological actions.
To protect the gray-faced buzzard, the Changhua County Government and the Wild Bird Society of Changhua jointly organized a series of "Yinyang Bagua" activities, which have become an ecotourism event of international importance.
We establish environmental education courses in schools to convey the concept of ecological sustainability to every student. The courses include ecological interpretation and DIY activities.
In collaboration with local communities, we organize mini sustainable eco-trips, leading participants to gain a deeper understanding of the local environment, culture, and life.
We guide the public in two-way communication and explore environmental and ecological issues, seeking to build a local consensus on sustainable tourism.
