Introduction

Mt. Jiali Trail is renowned as the “Mt. Fuji of Taiwan” and boasts a total length of approximately 5,800 meters. The first half of the trail has a gentle slope. It not only has the special “pipe road”, but there are also many significant sights to see along the trail such as remains of a small railway that was used to transport lumber in early days and the crystal clear Fengmei River.
加里山步道(第二級)景色
The second half of the trail is the most challenging part. Besides mountain roads with large rocks, there are also uphill sections with twisted and coiled old tree roots.  However, once you reach the summit and gaze at the blowing mist and beautiful mountainous landscape, the difficulties along the way will all seem worthwhile.
