Siliq Trail, which connects Plum Seeking Garden and Lansheng Building, is a 600-meter trail built entirely with environmentally friendly construction methods that does not cause damage to the natural ecosystem. “Siliq” is the Atayal language of Gray-cheeked Fulvetta, the spiritual bird of fortune telling for the Atayal people. The trail is full of greenery. Its pristine forest features rich vegetation and is home to a variety of birds, insects, and butterflies, giving it a natural charm. Once you reach Lansheng Building, the final stop on the trail, you can climb up and gaze into the horizon for a different kind of enjoyment. It takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to go to and from Siliq Trail. It is the best choice for hiking, ecological experiences, and becoming intimate with Mother Nature.
