Baguali Tribal Village
Baguali Community is a Say-Siyat village with around 20 households. A total of 8 mountaintops can be seen from here when looking southwards, thus gaining the name “Hakaliki” in the Japanese Colonial Era, meaning “8 mountains”.
Nanzhuang Old Street
Located on the Zhongzhen Road near Yongchang Temple and the alley nearby, Nanzhuang Old Street is full of stores selling special snacks and goods. There will be large crowds queuing on Old Street every weekend or on public holidays.
Penglai River Ecology Park
The Penglai River Ecology Trail in Nanjhuang is known for its rusticity and originality. This area is completely natural with only a few bridges made out of bamboo and simple rock and wooden steps. Alongside these paths are rich ecological resources--plants and animals, birds and insects.
