Afternoon: Visit Erlin Local Wineries for Grape Picking and Wine Making
Erlin, located in southwest Changhua, formerly provided grapes on contract to Nantou wineries, which produced more than 80 percent of Taiwanese wine. Later, as the market opened up, independent small wineries gradually established themselves, making Xidou Community the densest winery area in Taiwan. Each winery uses its own grapes, including Golden Muscat and Black Queen, to produce Taiwanese wines that exhibit the local terroir. Visit a winery and chat with its owner, try different wines and savor the local stories.

In addition to wine-making grapes, Erlin also produces dragon fruit. During peak season in summer and autumn every year, many orchards offer fruit picking and creative cooking experiences. Depending on the season, Xidou Community in Erlin provides freshly picked grapes and dragon fruits as well as wine-making and dragon fruit cake-making experiences, allowing visitors to experience the fun of farming from origin to the table.
Evening: Fine Wines and Terroir Table
Using fresh ingredients produced locally in southern Changhua paired with wine produced and brewed in Erlin's Xidou Community, local chefs transform the rich fruits of the land into delicious dishes. Accompanied by fine wine and moonlight and surrounded by the pastoral scenery of the orchards, a romantic feast unique to this place unfolds under the grape vines, allowing visitors to experience the local flavor of Erlin, Changhua.
