Changhua Station
It is located at the south meeting point of the mountain and coastal railway lines. Changhua City used to be the location of the political and economic center for the whole central Taiwan area in the early period of the Republic of China. It can be regarded as the hub for both mountain and coastal lines in terms of railway traffic. It has railways to Dajia and Shalu on the coastal line and Taichung on the mountain line. It is why the geographical location of Changhua City is so unique and significant
Changhua Sector Garage
The Sector Garage is the only surviving railway roundhouse in the country. After steam engine locomotive completes the nostalgic tour, it will be stationed at Changhua Railway Roundhouse. It creates more value of historical and cultural preservation for the railway roundhouse. The garage was constructed in 1922. The tracks extend outwards from the center of the garage like a fan, and it is called roundhouse. Locomotive goes into the garage for rest and maintenance after the long-distance journey; therefore, it is also called “the hotel for locomotives”.
Chung Chuang 3D Painted Community
Chung Chuang 3D Painted Community located in Changhua City is inspired by the idea of “Chung Chuang = loyal dog”(pronunciation in Chinese). Therefore, there are a lot of 3D painting with the theme of dogs in the community. The community is colorful and suitable for family trip and internet celebrity check-in.
Baguashan Ecology Visitor Center (Grey-faced Buzzard Exhibition Hall)
The Baguashan Ecology Visitor Center is close to the Baguashan Great Buddha statue. The visitor center mainly introduces the grey-faced buzzards that pass by Baguashan mountain range on their way north or temporarily rest here around March each year.
Baguashan Skywalk
To connect current tourism resources, Changhua County Government built the Baguashan Skywalk to enlarge the tourists’ range of Baguashan Great Buddha Scenic Area with the structure of points, lines and planes while connecting meridional attraction sites.
