In addition to white-eared sibia found in mid-altitude mountain areas. liocichla steerii is most easily heard. Liocichla steerii is also called sweet potato bird because its round shape is like a sweet potato. Typically, one bird chirps, and another responds in kind. Their voices are so loud that we often hear them before seeing them.

Its most special feature is the bright yellow spot below the mouth, like a beauty spot.It is naturally lively and , often hopping in dense bushes, and also often appears near industrial roads or paths.When it senses humans approaching, it usually  flies quickly into low bushes or loudly s others.
