Starting from Ershui Station, the Jiji Railway passes through stations such as Yuanquan, Zhuoshui, Longquan, and Shuili. It runs along the north bank of the Zhuoshui River and ends at Checheng in Nantou, with a total length of 29 kilometers. Along the way, it is known for its natural landscapes of mountains, rivers and farms, especially the hundreds of old camphor trees on both sides of the several-kilometer-long Green Tunnel. When the train enters the tunnel, the surroundings suddenly become tranquil, as if visitors are entering a fairyland. This fascinating place is popular with tourists on holidays. The Jiji Line is the oldest railway in Taiwan and it is the only railway in Nantou County. Stretching 29.7 kilometers, Ershui Station is the starting point of the Jiji Line. People who are fond of traveling by train definitely should not miss the station.
