Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters

“Haihui Nunnery” was built in 1928. It worships the Holy Triad of the West, which includes Amitabha, Avalokitesvara, Mahasthamaprapta, and Sakyamuni Buddha. Several big and leafy osmanthus trees are in front of the nunnery. The fragrance of the osmanthus is blown around by the wind as if one is in a wonderland.

The nunnery is surrounded by three mountains, and a canyon in the foreground is suitable for overlooking Hsinchu City during the day or at night. The coastline of Chunan in Siangshan District is full of shiny fishing lights, oozing otherworldly ethereal vibes.
