To celebrate the holiday season, Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Headquarters of the Tourism Administration, MOTC, is hosting the 4th annual Lishan Guguan Light Art Festival from November 28, 2024 to January 12, 2025. The festival will be held in the Lishan Scenic Area. This year's highlights include Taiwan's tallest Christmas trees, which grow above the clouds. The two cedars are about 28 meters in height and are growing at an elevation 1,956 meters. They can be seen in front of the historic Lishan Guest House. Light displays will also be set up at the Lishan Visitor Center, the Lishan Observation Deck, the entrance to the 1956 Maple Valley, and at the entrance to the Fushoushan Farm. The lighting arrangements in Guguan include installations at Guguan Park, the Guguan Visitor Center, and along pedestrian streets. Lighting installations at iconic Guguan landmarks such as the Guguan Archway and Main Street feature local scenic elements for a connected, illuminated route that transforms Lishan and Guguan into radiant night attractions. The displays invite visitors, both local and international, to enjoy a scenic and festive atmosphere.
