Creation of an international-class tourist destination and enlivening of local business through tourism.In pursuit of the goal of sustainable operation of the Lion's Head Mountain, Lishan, and Mt.Bagua recreation areas, the Administration will focus on nativism, education, and ecology in developing and promoting this national scenic area into an internationally known tourist destination. In this way, the creation of jobs and business opportunities will stimulate development of the local economy.

Establishment of a complete infrastructure and provision of an outstanding travel environment
The Administration will strive to meet the needs of tourists by providing an outstanding, internationally friendly environment and complete infrastructure in the national scenic area. It will also work to improve the quality of the tourism environment through the mapping out of general plans for the linking of tourist spots together into a comprehensive network.
3.
Establishment of a travel information system, strengthening of media publicity and international marketing, and provision of superior traveler services. The Administration will establish a tourist information system and strengthen promotion through media and Internet marketing with the aim of providing convenient, high-quality services to tourists. This will stimulate a fad for domestic travel and accelerate the development of international tourism.
