The Planning Section carries out planning and surveying of tourism resources within the area, planning of tourism development, and promotion and screening of private investment in and operation of recreation and accommodation facilities. It is responsible for research and statistical compilation of tourist information. It collects, studies, organizes, and compiles related laws and regulations, and formulates scenic area control regulations. It also supervises and implements matters related to tourist information, and handles research and development work as well as construction controls.
The Engineering Section handles the drawing up of regulations related to the planning of engineering work, the interpretation of laws and regulations, the commissioning of engineering projects, the approval of budgetary proposals, sub-contracting, construction, examination upon completion of construction projects, and formulation of annual construction plans for the national scenic area.
The Management Section engages in the operation and management of scenic and recreation areas, supervision and promotion of the tourism industry, and preservation of tourism and designated ecological, geological, landscape, and water resources. It manages accommodation and public facilities within the area, communication and coordination with visitor centers, and maintenance of environmental cleanliness, beautification, and order within the area. It also handles applications for building construction, applications for land usage, land acquisition, and disposition of regulatory violations.
This section deals with the planning, promotion, and implementation of tourist and recreational events; the planning, design, and production of recreational and explanatory facilities; the editing and printing of explanatory and promotional materials; the management of visitor centers; and the supervision and training of volunteer workers.
This office basically deals with the registration of land and property, custodianship and management for property acquisition, hiring of repair and maintenance workers, cashier services, receipt and distribution of documents, custodianship of official chops, file management, maintenance and repair of vehicles and machinery, management of building repair and maintenance, and management of maintenance.
The Personnel Office mainly deals with personnel affairs, including the appointment, dismissal, promotion, and reassignment of employees. It divides duties and responsibilities according to functional tasks. It also deals with employee examination, on-the-job training, business travel, compensatory time off, employee rewards and punishments, salary and remuneration, employee welfare, insurance, retirement pensions, personnel management, etc.
The Accounting Office deals with the calculation of annual incomes and expenditures, budget allocation and implementation, and the collection of related information for the Administration. In addition, it also safeguards proofs of payment and receipts, keeps track of cash, checks, and properties, and monitors conformity with Government Procurement Law stipulations.

The responsibilities of ranger stations include explanation of tourist services, maintenance and management of tourist safety and discipline, hygienic and environmental protection, and prevention of pollution. They are also responsible for the maintenance and management of public facilities and the preservation of land quality, landscapes, and ecological and water resources within the scenic area. They provide emergency rescue and other assistance for visitors, and handle the administration of the stations.
